The National Minimum Wage for an apprentice aged under 19 is £6.40 per hour. If you are aged 19 or over and have completed the first year of your apprenticeship, you are legally entitled to the higher  National Living and Minimum Wage rates relevant to your age group.

Employers supported by the WCAA will receive a £500 grant paid in two instalments to help support the apprenticeship training. Apprentices also receive a fantastic tool kit relevant to their trade from our sponsors Travis Perkins to support them in their apprenticeship.
