Are you interested in general construction? A bricklaying apprenticeship provides you with the rounded skills needed to begin work in the construction industry. Usually lasting 2-4 years, you will gain an industry qualification as a professional bricklayer with opportunities to further your training.

You may be working on one or a few projects, both internally and externally so you should enjoy working outdoors – even in poor weather! Type of work includes cutting bricks, using a range of tools, laying bricks and checking measurements.

The Heart of Worcestershire College (HOW) supports bricklaying apprenticeships with courses that support learning and theory in a classroom environment combined with on site experience.

As a bricklaying apprentice learning through HOW College, you could qualify for funding and support through the Worcestershire Construction Apprentice Academy.
