The Worcestershire Construction Apprentice Academy (WCAA) is an independent charity founded by Worcestershire building contractor, Speller Metcalfe.

The charity aims to support apprentices and employers through a financial grant and trade vouchers in recognition of the difficult financial challenges employing an apprentice can have.

Any apprentices and employers taking part in the scheme must be living within Worcestershire to qualify, and apprentices be undertaking an apprenticeship in partnership with the Heart of Worcestershire College.

With the current skills gap in industry Speller Metcalfe aims to help more apprentices into construction, and by working together with the Heart of Worcestershire College the WCAA aims to increase the number of apprenticeship opportunities available locally, develop a highly skilled workforce, improve employer / apprenticeship links and boost job opportunities in Worcestershire.

Please note: The WCAA is an independent charity. Speller Metcalfe, the Heart of Worcestershire College and other parties associated with the WCAA receive no financial gain from the charity. Any donations or monies received go toward apprenticeship funding and the running of the WCAA.
